People often wonder where I get my enthusiasm for life from.

Please meet my parents.

Skip ‘n Lise have a joie de vivre and marriage that has spanned 58 yrs and 5 kids.  They know how to celebrate life.

Oh make no mistake, they’ve been through the mill.  Mom sewed our clothes, grew our food and was a palliative care nurse.  Dad travelled extensively in remote regions to bring health, education and human rights to those most in need.  They’ve both seen their fair share of hardship.  Yet, here they are, in their mid 80’s, ready to done my crazy clothes and get down for a dance before breakfast.

I want to be like them when I grow up.
