For the past 6 months I’ve been working with the sacred waters of Gaia in Bahia Brazil. I walk the shores singing codes of creation to cleanse and bless our Earth’s waters.
These songs sing me as they flow out into the waves. They move through me from the depths of Creations’ womb. I am a simple instrument and don’t question the impulse or need that wakes me before sunrise each day.
Rain or shine, I greet the pre-dawn to quietly walk the sandy paths, through dark coconut groves with silent stars and still sleeping birds nesting high above me. Often as I work, I find little treasures in the sand. These gifts I carry tenderly back to my home.
When injury comes and I cannot walk anymore, the songs continue to swell in me, demanding to be birthed. I draw on these beautiful offerings while listening to the ocean’s call, her reach impossible to ignore. I am cocooned in prayerful presence while the mandalas take form.
Gratitude and blessings to our Mother Ocean.
Our First Mother and life giver to all.
